About us
Set high in the hills just outside Akoursos village in Paphos sits ADONIS GLAMPING.
Nests, a unique, sustainable, and off-grid ecological B&B. It consists of authentic wooden glamping pods, all offering a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Our Garden faces the valley, allowing you to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from anywhere. It’s a great place to switch off and do nothing, or on the contrary, spend your days actively in nature – that’s why it’s equally popular among families, couples, small groups, and solo travelers.
We’re open all year round because every season brings a different kind of magic.

Cyprus’s biodiversity is incredible.
From Greater Flamingo’s to Laughing Dove’s, Cyprus’s biodiversity is vast (due to migrating routes). Bird watchers, actually, all wildlife lovers, will be pleased here.
Here at The Garden, we are situated right in the middle of the Important Bird Area (IBA)/ AKAMAS NATIONAL PARK. MAVROKOLYMPOS Dam is regarded as one of the most studding hidden spots to visit on the west of the island, this man-made reservoir attracts the Long-Legged Buzzard, Bonelli’s Eagle, Grey Heron, Blue Rock Thrush and more.

WE ARE COMMITTED
- to ensuring that Glamping in our Garden is a SUSTAINABLE, off-grid project which aims toward making TRAVEL and LIVING
SUSTAINABLE.
We RECYCLE
- paper, plastic, glass, metal
and aluminum. Al leftover food is eaten by us or goes to our compost bins which are used on our land. Half-used toiletries are used by us, then put in the recycling.
We COLLECT
- all fire ash and put it on tree roots (it raises the P.H content in soil) We try to ensure that many things are within a cycle here”
• THE ELECTRICITY is generated from renewable sources, a hybrid system of both solar panels and a wind turbine, which we are really happy about.
• WE RECYCLE all plastic amenity bottles, as we go. Al of our cleaning products are non-toxic without any chemicals. We use eco- friendly light bulbs and any burned out ones go for recycling, same for batteries!
• We like “UPCYCLING” furniture rather than replacing it. Some of the furniture in the Nests is recycled and everything is home made and hand made by us. Many items that we no longer have a need for have been given to charity rather than taking to landfill.
•ALL electricalitemsarenewandare’AA’ ENERGY RATED . The washing machine is used on the shortest cycle for the wash and uses minimal water.
“Yet, we are aware that it is not enough to simply focus on UPCYCLING and RECYCLING so we try to shop CONSCIOUSLY.
• There is an ongoing PERMACULTURE design happening. In the garden we have over 6000 tree’s and herbs planted here, which goes a big way in providing the oxygen that we are breathing. (The magic of photosynthesis; trees taking in carbon dioxide and working to produce the oxygen we breathe.
• We also run a BIOLOGICAL SEWAGE water management system which ensures a reduction in the need for fresh water.
By SAVING ON FRESH WATER, we not only significantly reduce the spend on water bills, but it also has a broader community and worldwide benefit in reducing demands on public water supply, which is a real benefit in Cyprus as there is often water shortages.
• All the SHOWER heads are low-flow and the toilets are low-flow, which saves up to 230 tonnes PER YEAR, ALONE, just on our Project Site!!
• We MAINTAIN our own village FARM where we get our fresh free range eggs.
We MAINTAIN our own VEGETABLE and FRUIT GARDEN. So whilst we only serve you locally sourced ingredients (no processed food in our kitchen!) we offer you produce straight from our gardens.
• All your food is sourced LOCALLY to reduce food miles. Everything is HOMEMADE with love and cooked to minimise waste and amount of refrigeration needed.
Wines are sourced from a local winery with all grapes grown here in Cyprus.
• We try to encourage the wildlife by FEEDING BIRDS birds on the land and allow parts of areas to grow in their more wilder nature. We are always happy to see bee’s
buzzing around the plants and worms busy in the soil – all great signs that there is an ecosystem working!
• AS YOU CAN SEE, WE ARE BIG INTO ‘GREEN’ Every
Little Thing Truly Does Help and Have An Impact. We have had a lot of GUESTS ASK ask us over time how they can also be part of this; although not exhaustive, some things to consider are below.
• We are working towards recognition for our efforts (Something rare for B&B’s, more so than in Cyprus!) so we thank for your contribution.
HOW GUESTS CAN HELP AND PARTICIPATE
DONT’ PRINT out your confirmation emails (we don’t need to see them!), We already have your booking confirmation logged with all your information before your arrival so we avoid the need of printing registration forms.
• TURN OFF taps when brushing teeth.
• USE the short flush facility on toilets.
• DON’T ASK ask for your towels to be replaced or washed daily.
• CLOSE THE DOOR if you have the airconditioner on, or open the window for fresh cool mountain air.
• TURN your lights OFF when leaving .
• USE our external recycling bin for your rubbish or leave it at the side of your bedroom bin.

THE GLAMPING NEST are located on top of a hill with PANORAMIC views of the
Mavrokolympos lake and the Mediterranean sea.
It offers TRANQUILITY and VISUAL PLEASURE. In the midst of this colorful and vivid landscape you can RELAX and TAKE it EASY.
THE BOTANIC GLAMPING Pods are named after our popular garden herbs : LAVENDER, ROSEMARY, CHAMOMILE, PEPPERMINT and JASMINE.
• With your BOTANIC GLAMPING RESERVATION you can :

– VISIT the old traditional olive press, the village &water museums, the water wheels, the old spirit distillery, the village farm with pigeon, peacock and peafowl collection.

Each Nest has its own en- suite heated shower, toilet and washbasin, two large single beds, a fridge, kettle, and coffee/ tea accessories. There are electrical points, lighting and a table with 2 chairs. Airconditioner installed in every Nest.

Cancelation terms
We regret to inform you that w e are unable to provide a refund for your canceled booking. Our refund policy clearly states that in the event of a cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
This policy is in place to ensure fairness and consistency for all our customers.
When you made the booking, you agreed to our terms and conditions, which include the cancellation policy. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellations.
We can move your booking date to another day. But it must be done 4 days before your check in date.
